Original Organic Lager   (3.37/5)

The heartbeat of our brewery–this was the first beer that we ever brewed back in 2002 when we opened our doors. Where other breweries have come along and copied us, the idea of making an organic beer was a precept of our company and it still represents that spirit of doing the right thing that governs everything that we do here at Mill Street.

Style: Lager - Pale

ABV: 4.2%    IBU: 11

Tankhouse Ale   (3.47/5)

Our original brewery in Toronto’s historic Distillery District, known as “Tankhouse #3” was built in 1879 as a storage building for bulk spirits waiting to be filled into barrels. It was in this building in 2003 that our Tankhouse Ale was born. Now made with all organic ingredients, we use an abundance of organic hops and five different organic malts to produce a rich, fiery pale ale, copper-red in colour, and truly satisfying in flavour.

Style: Pale Ale - American

ABV: 5.2%    IBU: 40

100th Meridian Organic Amber Lager   (3.5/5)

Our organic barley comes from the Great Plains of Canada. I had the opportunity to go and meet the farmers that grow this organic grain for us, and they are amazing people. These fine folks have taken one step back, and are doing things the right way. This is an American-style craft lager brewed with pale and amber malts, and a whole lot of American west coast hops to give it a wonderful character that’s certified organic. All of the organic barley malt, hops and yeast come from west of the 100th Meridian–thus the name. It is a truly Canadian craft brew that combines the “best of the west” ingredients, a unique recipe and classic Mill Street smoothness.

Style: Lager - American Amber / Red

ABV: 5%    IBU: 27

Cobblestone Nitro Stout   (3.57/5)

The beer that I drink the most of! This is such a great example of a simple recipe executed very well. Now certified organic, the smoky roasted organic barley tones combined with the clean bitterness of organic American hops to make this a truly classic pub pint. Nitrogen charging is something that Mill Street has taken a craft industry lead in, and the design of the beers made this way has a subtle elegance that has won them many fans.

Style: Stout - Irish Dry

ABV: 4.2%    IBU: 40

West Coast Style IPA   (3.64/5)

Mosaic, El Dorado and Hallertau Blanc hops.

Style: IPA - American

ABV: 6.6%    IBU: 82

Link Back: West Coast Style IPA - Brewed In Calgary AB

Vanilla Porter   (3.69/5)

A cult favourite from our Toronto Brewpub, Vanilla Porter is an extra-smooth Nitrogen-charged English-style dark ale brewed with pure vanilla extract. Chocolate flavours dominate the beer with an underlying tone of dried fruit and a subtle dry finish that leaves you wanting more.

Style: Porter - English

ABV: 5%    IBU: 29

Link Back: Vanilla Porter - Brewed In Calgary AB

Hopped & Confused Session Ale   (3.56/5)

This beer is really hoppy but not bitter. It is an ale and a lager. It is juicy, herbal, floral, smooth, crisp, and doesn't taste like anything else. It is a sessionable version of a non-sessionable style. Hopped? Confused? Once you try it, you'll get it. It is deliciously straight forward.

Style: IPA - Session / India Session Ale

ABV: 4.7%    IBU: 20

Link Back: Hopped & Confused Session Ale - Brewed In Calgary AB

Lemon Tea Beer   (3.2/5)

A remarkable wheat beer infused with a blend of Orange Pekoe and Earl Grey teas. It pours a light amber colour and will charm you with its sublime tea flavour and subtle lemon twist. A truly Canadian take on one of Europe’s newest beer styles.

Style: Spiced / Herbed Beer

ABV: 5%    IBU: 20

Link Back: Lemon Tea Beer - Brewed In Calgary AB

Nightmare Pumpkin Ale   (3.42/5)

Appearing in the fall this devilishly delicious ale is brewed with real pumpkin and generous amounts of spice. this smooth medium bodied amber ale is made with a blend of 5 malts, 6 spices, unmalted wheat, pure vanilla extract and pumpkin in the mash. its spicy aroma and hints of ginger and clove leave a lingering "pumpkin pie" aftertaste.

Style: Pumpkin / Yam Beer

ABV: 5%    IBU: 18

Link Back: Nightmare Pumpkin Ale - Brewed In Calgary AB

Belgian Wit   (3.44/5)

Mill Street Belgian Style Wit is a refreshing beer made with a unique blend of ingredients. The soft texture and pale colour comes from the use of wheat, coriander, orange peel and our special yeast and produce the complexity and depth of fruity flavours contained within the glass. This beer is unfiltered. The resulting cloudiness gave rise to the term Wit, or White beer.

Style: Witbier

ABV: 5.2%    IBU: 13

Link Back: Belgian Wit - Brewed In Calgary AB

Stock Ale   (3.31/5)

This thirst-quenching “export style” brew is crafted the way domestic blonde ales were made 100 years ago. The natural sweetness of the malt dominates this smooth ale, making it – what we alternately call the “Ultimate Hockey Beer” or the “Ultimate Cottage Beer” (depending on the season).

Style: Blonde Ale

ABV: 5%    IBU: 10

Link Back: Stock Ale - Brewed In Calgary AB

Oktoberfest   (3.4/5)

A fall staple, this "festbier" is brewed for fall celebrations, the best known being the Oktoberfest in Munich. Ours take on the style has a soft, malty aromatic nose and a rich copper colour capped with a large creamy white head. at 5.5% it will keep you warm on a cool autumn evening.

Style: Märzen

ABV: 5.5%    IBU: 23

Link Back: Oktoberfest - Brewed In Calgary AB

Coffee Porter   (3.58/5)

This unique porter is rich and robust, imparting an intense coffee flavour. And yes, it’s made with real roasted Balzac’s beans in every batch!

Style: Porter - Coffee

ABV: 5.5%    IBU: 20

Link Back: Coffee Porter - Brewed In Calgary AB

Welterweight   (3.42/5)

After seeing people’s reaction to the limited-edition Rodeo Monk Belgian-style IPA, I brewed Welterweight Session IPA to offer the same big hop aromas and delicate fruitiness with a reduced overall bitterness. This feisty white session IPA delivers hoppy Belgian-style IPA qualities at a much more reasonable 4.8% abv, making Welterweight a beer that you can sit on a deck and drink all summer long – and that is exactly what I plan to do!

Style: IPA - Session / India Session Ale

ABV: 4.8%    IBU: 50

Link Back: Welterweight - Brewed In Calgary AB

White Space Wheat   (3.45/5)

White Space. Calm in a busy world. Brewed with camomile flowers, coriander and Mediterranean blood orange, this beer is very, very mellow. Intentionally cloudy due to our use of wheat in the recipe, this unfiltered beer has a creamy texture and a lightly dry and softly bittersweet orange finish. Relax, we’ve got this.

Style: Witbier

ABV: 5%    IBU: 5

Link Back: White Space Wheat - Brewed In Calgary AB

Tankenstein   (3.57/5)

Originating as a cask-only version of our Tankhouse Ale, Tankenstein is a dry-hopped IPA with full body and matching bitterness. It is a perfectly balanced ale with caramel and biscuit malts complementing the dryness of US grown bittering hops but with a massive over-lay of American Cascade hops being added to the tank during ageing to “dry-hop” the beer and give it a wonderful perfumey character. Grapefruit and piney resinous tones are the main contribution of the Cascades and make this a truly classic American-style IPA. It’s ALIVE!!!!!!

Style: IPA - American

ABV: 7%    IBU: 60

Link Back: Tankenstein - Brewed In Calgary AB

Big League IPA   (3.47/5)

A golden coloured ale with a very floral flavour from American cascade hops perfectly balanced with a soft smooth malt texture and thick, creamy white head that puts it in a league of its own

Style: IPA - American

ABV: 7%    IBU: 70

Link Back: Big League IPA - Brewed In Calgary AB

IPA (India Pale Ale)   (3.32/5)

True IPAs were high in both alcohol and hops to survive the long hot voyage from Britain to India. This makes it a big and flavourful beer style. Our version is no exception. Traditional English malts and hops are used to give this copper brew a big flavour. This beer has a slightly roasted note with a strong hop bitterness and flavour.

Style: IPA - English

ABV: 6.1%    IBU: 44

Link Back: IPA (India Pale Ale) - Brewed In Calgary AB

Walker's Blueberry Wheat   (3.26/5)

This is a Canadian twist on a classic Belgian-styled ale. Our blueberry wheat beer is made with a blend of wheat, barley malts and aromatic hops to create a smooth, creamy ale base. We add a huge quantity of blueberries (from the family farm of an employee!) and blueberry pure to the secondary fermentation. This refermentation on the fruit creates a wonderful “berry” coloured beer that is very strongly fruit flavoured but still subtle enough to allow the base notes of the beer to evolve on the palate.

Style: Wheat Beer - American Pale Wheat

ABV: 5%    IBU: 20

Link Back: Walker's Blueberry Wheat - Brewed In Calgary AB

Madawaska Maple   (3.28/5)

The maple syrup used to brew our Madawaska Maple Ale comes from the rugged and rocky hills of the Madawaska Valley, and is made in wood-fired evaporators by traditional producers. The result is a subtly sweet and malty Irish red ale, brewed with a tip of the hat to those who help us infuse it with Ontario history. Cheers!

Style: Red Ale - Irish

ABV: 5%    IBU: 22

Link Back: Madawaska Maple - Brewed In Calgary AB

Spring Thaw Maple Ale   (3.21/5)

Deep amber colour and made with lightly smoked malt and Lanark County maple syrup, this is the perfect way to cope with the late winter blahs! We smoke part of the malt ourselves and then infuse the beer with eastern Ontario maple syrup from the Wheeler’s Family sugar bush in MacDonald’s Corners to give it a slightly sweet, wonderful hardwood-smoked character. Very lightly hopped, this is a variant of a carbonated Irish Red Ale. This beer will break the ice and wrap you in warmth at the end of a long winter. Go forth!

Style: Spiced / Herbed Beer

ABV: 5.3%    IBU: 20

Link Back: Spring Thaw Maple Ale - Brewed In Calgary AB

Honest Bucker Pale Ale   (3.56/5)

Named after a bucking horse that bucks the same way every time. This pale ale showcases the mosaic hop, which brings tons of tropical aromas. The dry finish makes this beer very easy to drink

Style: Pale Ale - American

ABV: 5.9%    IBU: 41

Rhuby Cove   (3.56/5)

First brewed in partnership with the St. John’s Fruit Tree Project, this special release has become a favourite at our St. John's Brewpub. Featuring flavours of sweet strawberry and crisp rhubarb, we're excited to bring this fruity and slightly tart beer to Canadians everywhere.

Style: Cream Ale

ABV: 5%    IBU: 13

Link Back: Rhuby Cove - Brewed In Calgary AB

Betelgeuse   (3.52/5)

Belgian Tripels are a style of strong golden ales traditionally produced by vocational (Trappist) monks. Our Betelgeuse has pear, peach, apple, citrus, clove and bubble gum notes and starts out sweet but finishes dry. At 9.3% ABV it is devilishly strong and a “star” in our family.

Style: Belgian Tripel

ABV: 9.3%    IBU: 24

Link Back: Betelgeuse - Brewed In Calgary AB

Portage Ale   (3.34/5)

Born at our ottawa brewpub this is an "old school" cream ale. Brewed in the style of several beers made long ago by breweries from the lebreton flats upon which our brewpub is located. this beer is an easy-drinking, crisp, thirst quenching ale with a deep golden colour and bright white head. it is fermented twice, once with ale yeast to produce a creamy, robust palate and then again through a secondary fermentation with lager yearst to develop a smooth and mellow character - truly unique to this classic North American beer style!

Style: Cream Ale

ABV: 5%    IBU: 13
