Luminosity
(3.76/5)
Our first beer this year rises from 2020s ashes, glowing gold and shining bright.
Luminosity German Pils is the antidote to the year that was. Its a simple, easy-drinking lager crafted in the German brewing tradition - one defined by balance, quality ingredients and drinkability.
Its crisp, dry and has long-lasting bready malt notes. Youll notice delightful spicy and floral aromas and a low to medium bitterness that slowly builds as you drink. Hold it to the light and youll see the most glorious, gentle golden hue. Youll want the luminous light to wash over you like a baptisim of hope, but dont linger too long afterall, this is a beer made for drinking.
Prost!
Style: Pilsner - German

Total Saturation
(4.29/5)
How saturated in aroma and flavour can one beer be? We found ourselves pondering that exact question with our good friends at Collective Craft Beer Shop and decided to find out.
To build a big beer, you need wheat, lots of it. And oats, boatloads. Then all the pils malt and flaked barley you can get your hands on. But your beer cant be totally saturated until youve overflown the kettle with as many hops as you can muster.
For this beer, we used Yakima Chief's Cryo Pop Hop Blend, a hop medley of the most delicious sticky compounds, cryogenically frozen to extract all that concentrated lupulin - the aromatic stuff that makes Saturation beers smell so damned saturated. Youll get mind-boggling notes of stone fruit, citrus and tropical fruit and as the name suggests, the aroma truly pops from the glass.
And for an extra pop of colour, we opted for Summit Labels new fluorescent ink labels, which are vibrant during the day, but really come alive at night under a black light.
Were totally proud and a little intimidated if were being honest to present Total Saturation Triple NEIPA, our biggest, boldest, most aromatic and flavourful hazy beer to date. Its a ten percenter that drinks like a sixer, with a texture as fluffy as cotton ball clouds and aromas that will waft over you for an eternity.
How saturated in aroma and flavour can one beer be? The answer is Total Saturation.

Cool As
(3.68/5)
This beer is tart, dry and super refreshing with layers of complex lime flavours and aromas, balanced with a cool earthy undertone from the cucumber. Making this beer was fun! We hand-peeled 300 pounds of Alberta-grown cucumbers, and zested and juiced 200 limes.
We also added torn kaffir lime leaves and smashed dried Mediterranean loomi limes to give it a certain something that most lime beers do not. Light additions of salt and coriander bring the flavours together with a long lasting bready wheat flavour.
Its not just cool. Its Cool As!
Style: Sour - Fruited Gose

Super Juicii
(4.36/5)
Sometimes, a beer is just meant to be. It comes as a vision and once youve imagined it, theres no point fighting it, so you may as well just jump in boots and all and bring it to life.
When we first laid eyes on Kilter Brewing in Winnipeg, it was love at first sight. The beer, the branding, the vision and the attention to quality all gelled so nicely with Cabins ideals, we couldnt NOT work together.
We started where the vision told us to start by mashing up our two hazy flagship beers Juicii and Super Saturation. We wanted something super. Something juicy. Something
. Super Juicii? Heck yeah! We took a few hops from this beer, a few from that, ramped up the malt bill and BAM we have one epic haze monster, bursting with tropical aromas and with a rich, full body thatll feel like velvet in a glass (if velvet smelled like awesome).
Only available for a short time get it while you can!
Style: IPA - Imperial / Double New England / Hazy
ABV: 8% IBU: 55

Triples Is Best
(4.19/5)
Sorry, the ice cream machines may be broken during the winter, but that doesnt mean you cant treat yourself to this soft, tropical and creamy triple dry-hopped, 10%, triple NEIPA with Talus and Cryo Pop hops.
Oh hey! This is good! That deal just went through, so weve got triples of the HBC 630 hops now too! Triples is best.
So weve got triples of the Talus, triples of the Cryo Pop and triples of HBC 630, plus doubles of every classic delivery vehicle, and were rich, and we dont live at the brewery and we don't spend all our spare change on more hops and working with other breweries (like Another Beer Co. from BC) that also like making super big IPAs. Nope.
Triples are safe. Triples is best.
Style: IPA - Triple New England / Hazy

Simple Pleasures
(3.75/5)
English mild ale is a throwback to a more simple time where people knew who they voted for and why, saw work as a wage rather than a lifestyle, and who chose their beer like they supported their sports team - because it was what you did and it wasnt worth fussing over.
Simple Pleasures is what we drink to take life back a notch or two. Theres a ton of flavour for a light beer, with notes of light chocolate, biscuit, nuttiness, dried fruit raisin, plum especially and pours a delightful mahogany colour.
No pretension. No gimmicks. Just a refreshing, flavourful malt-accented beer that is readily suited to drinking in quantity (and at just 3.8% its perfect for having a few).
Style: Mild - Other

Zen Garden
(3.71/5)
For our second lager we wanted to make something different. Something light and crisp, yet floral and intriguing. A glorious lager to welcome in the brighter, lighter days. Something that epitomizes zen-like calm. Zen Garden uses 100% pilsner malt from Albertas Origin Malting with fragrant jasmine rice added for complexity and flavour. Its the palest of straw in colour, with slightly floral and light bready aromas. It has a crisp, clean flavour with some nuttiness on the finish from the rice. It finishes dry and crisp.
Style: Lager - Japanese Rice

Amaaaaazing
(3.81/5)
When Calgary brewer Paul Heslop won Yeast Wrangler of the Year at the Cowtown Yeast Wranglers homebrew club annual competition, the first prize was to brew a beer with Cabin. Hooray!
Weve all known Paul for many years and know that he has an insanely good palate for delicious beer. When he suggested making a lemon meringue pie ale, we couldnt say no. When you drink this beer youll swear you biting into a slice of pie. Its tart, sweet and lemony with a long lingering taste of freshly baked crust. In Pauls own immortal words, its Amaaaaazing.
Get it while its fresh.

Fuego
(3.99/5)
Say hello to Luna & Fuegos little cousin
Just like our barrel-aged Luna & Fuego, we started with a whopping imperial stout with cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla, then spiked it with a trio of chilies sweet ancho, tangy guajillo and smoky chipotle. Weve transferred a bunch of this beer to tequila barrels for a long sleep (see you in winter Luna & Fuego V2!) but for now you are in good company with Fuego - its unoaked, unaged, all sorts of fun and ready to drink now.
The beer pours a thick, viscous black. The vanilla and cinnamon lend notes of horchata, while the cocoa and chili marry to create a decadently sweet and lingering spicy flavour.
Did we mention its smooth? Ridiculously so.
Style: Stout - Imperial / Double

Chasing Clouds
(4.1/5)
The joy of chasing clouds never gets old.
Big fluffy haze bombs. Some light, some strong. Tropical fruit or citrus, dank or bright, each is unique and glorious in its own right.
With as many combinations of hops and malt and yeast as there are faces in the clouds, the perfect hazy IPA can be as elusive as clutching mist.
Our latest foray into the wonderful world of haze experimentation is Chasing Clouds NEIPA. Along with a full-bodied blend of barley, oats and wheat, we also played with a heavenly blend of Australian Enigma and Eclipse and US El Dorado and Idaho 7 hops. Tropical? Yes.
Chasing Clouds is fluffy, puffy and dreamy and we can definitely see your face in it.
Style: IPA - New England / Hazy

Evening Chorus
(4.16/5)
What goes up, must come down, including the sun in Aotearoa. As dusk approaches at the far end of the world, a cacophony of birdsong can be heard, bidding farewell to the glorious day that was.
And just like our Dawn Chorus NZ-Hopped Hazy IPA, your tastebuds will experience something similar when sipping Evening Chorus NZ-Hopped Hazy IPA - a harmony of tropical fruit notes like pineapple, lychee and mango with bright citrus notes, all from the trio of New Zealand-grown Motueka, Rakau and Nelson Sauvin hops.
Style: IPA - New England / Hazy

Noble Pursuits
(3.68/5)
Bravo, you. We see you being kind. We feel your passion for fighting for the underdog. We hear you amplifying the voices that need to be heard. Those are the noble pursuits that we cherish, and to which we raise a toast.
Noble Pursuits Rye Ale (5%) is made with a melange of rich barley malts and malted rye for spice and Triumph hops, a new North American varietal with a lineage rooted in the bucolic fields of England and the noble hop farms of Germany. It defies all regular style guidelines (the best pursuits are those off the beaten path), but think of it as the malt-forward, full-flavoured ale youve been searching for to get you through the cooler evenings of fall.
Words and ideas can change the world, friends. Go forth and be noble, for those are the pursuits worth pursuing.

Yo!
(3.74/5)
Yo!
Isnt it amazing how such a short word can make such a big difference?
Yo! Salted Dragon Fruit Wheat Ale with Amchur and Lemon (5.3%) was brewed to remember our good friend Yolanda Loo, who died unexpectedly in February. To her friends, she was Yo an amazing human who was determined, focused and so helpful, with a laugh and smile that would light up a room. We miss her terribly.
The beer we made we made is as fun and vibrant as Yolanda was. We know she would approve.
As you sip this beer, consider taking a moment to say yo! to those in your life that you havent spoken to for a while. You never know how much of a difference that one short word will make.
We are donating $1 from every can sold and every glass poured in our taproom to a memorial fund set up in Yolandas name through the Calgary Health Trusts Mental Health Greatest Need Fund.

Easy Squeezy
(3.85/5)
When your beer hits your bouche like a big glass of juice
thats Easy Squeezy!
Easy Squeezy Orange NEIPA looks like OJ, smells like OJ and drinks a big old glass of fresh squeezed juice.
Heavy additions of red-fleshed Cara Cara navel orange puree and sweet orange peel synergize with a trio of kickass citrus hops Enigma, Citra, Amarillo - and a bright new hop star called Zamba, which dances in with notes of juicy tropical fruits, candy, and orange tangerine. The result is an ultra-delicious citrus bomb for your senses. Its like sunshine for your soul.
Dont be fooled. At 7.5% its not your regular breakfast drink. But it sure goes down veeeeeeery easy.

Season Pass
(3.93/5)
You're in it for the long haul, so you may as well make the most of it. Season Pass West Coast IPA is a bright beacon at the start of the cold weather - an old school style with a modern kick. We've used 100% @originmaltingco barley to build an aromatic malt backbone, and dumped a hefty amount of hops to let you know that this is most definitely an IPA of immense proportions.
Chinook and Columbus hops give some old school resin, spice and pine notes while Simcoe and Amarillo steer it towards the citrus, stone fruit and tropical fruit aromas we know and love in our hop-forward beers. Smell that? Yeah, it smells like awesome.
This, friend, is an IPA for IPA lovers. Bitter? Yes. Aroma for days? You know it. Delicious? Absolutely!

Hypersonic
(4.07/5)
Our latest hazy IPA is an intense streak of other-worldy hop wickedness, designed to replicate the brain-melting speed at which unreal flavour explosions radiate from the tip of your tongue and strafe the neurotransmitters in your brain with layer upon layer of awesomeness.
Were talking ludicrous amounts of Mosaic, El Dorado, Idaho 7 and Cashmere hops here friends, all loaded into the whirlpool to conjure up celestial flavours and aromas of mango, coconut, mandarin and papaya.
This weapon of mass hydration is called Hypersonic NEIPA (7%) and is about to rain down upon your senses with great juiciness and furious flavour. Oh yeah. Were putting the HYPE in Hypersonic.
Blink and youll miss it.

Mesosphere
(3.94/5)
Climb aboard as we continue our expedition through the many spheres of the West Coast IPA style in search of the perfect iteration.
Troposphere was West Coaster that drank like an East Coast IPA, while Stratosphere was old school all the way. Mesosphere blends the two and plays off dank pine and citrus hop undertones with tropical fruit high notes that defy gravity as they float from the glass.
Mesosphere blends Columbus, Centennial, Strata and Amarillo hops for an out-of-this-world flavour explosion, while a simple, dry malt backbone stands up to the robust hop bitterness and aroma and provides perfect balance.
Sip, exhale and float on, friends.

Great Expectations
(3.71/5)
Theres something special about malt-forward British beer once the weather turns. The sweet, malt. The fruity yeast. The earthy hops. Its definitely our cup of tea, and we have high hopes that youll feel the same way about Great Expectations ESB (4.5%).
Wed never claim to be able to make a true British bitter - its taken hundreds of years to perfect that deceptively simple blend of malt, water, hops and yeast - but were secretly excited about our interpretation of the style.
Weve blended British and Albertan malts, with nothing but the finest East Kent Goldings hops. You get notes of sponge toffee and golden syrup from the malt, with some earthy hop notes and faint plum and blackberry yeast esters to round it out.
Jolly good? We think so.
Style: Bitter - Extra Special / Strong (ESB)
