Well, it's pretty simple. You find value in the things we offer. You're felling a bit generous and want to help us in supporting this awesome community.
Humans
There are actually real humans behind this website, all volunteers. We are NOT a corporate marketing machine! Most of the code is done by one person, and it's a huge job. As well there are a couple others that help promote the local scene and bring the details to you via social media and in person at the events!
Automation
We use automation whenever we can. You may have interacted with BeerBot on social media, but you definitely have seen the products of the various automated tasks we have keeping data and information current. Yes, the bots work for free, but their trainers are humans!
Partnerships
We work along side a bunch of different organizations, who are all dedicated to promoting the Craft Beer scene in calgary and beyond. Sometimes we join efforts for a project, and sometimes we lend each other a hand. But mostly we just prop each other up and be sure to tell our users about our friends to help grow the community. "The rising tide floats all boats".
