Namesake   (3.83/5)

The recipient of the Last Best IPA Tap Takeover judges choice for 2019!
Our hazy style IPA is hopped exclusively with Australian and New Zealand hops and has a medium-full body thanks to an experimental NEIPA dry yeast and a malt bill rich of wheat and oats. Namesake has big notes of juicy citrus, tropical fruit, stone fruit and some resinous pine.

All of our beers are made with re-mineralized RO water, giving us the ability to accentuate flavours and mouthfeel true-to-style, in this case we use a specific ratio of chloride to sulfate to accentuate mouthfeel versus hop sharpness.

Style: IPA - New England

ABV: 6.8%    IBU: 30

Discovery   (3.65/5)

This hazy wheat beer is naturally carbonated thanks to the addition of 250kg of delicious raspberries per batch.

Fresh jam aroma and a berry fresh flavour, a little sour, a little tart. Just a simple wheat beer to pair with smokin’ hot summers in the Drumheller valley.

Style: Wheat Beer - Other

ABV: 4.8%    IBU: 20

Capstone   (3.52/5)

A mash-up of Pilsner malt and German hops, finishing dry and refreshing. Expect notes of cracker and bread from the malt and floral, slightly spicy notes from the hops.

All of our beers are made with re-mineralized RO water, giving us the ability to accentuate flavours and mouthfeel true-to-style, in this case a very soft water profile.

Style: Pilsner - German

ABV: 4.6%    IBU: 30

Prairie Icon   (3.64/5)

A local favorite, our Farmhouse Ale has a nice balance of clove, citrus, floral, earthy and peppercorn notes. It finishes dry with a hint of spice thanks to a blend of 5 varieties of peppercorns, and a highly attenuative yeast strain. Lemongrass and honey also make an appearance in the whirlpool to add some background complexity to this summer crusher.

Style: Farmhouse Ale - Saison

ABV: 5.2%    IBU: 25

Coal Rush   (3.92/5)

Prepare for huge roasty notes, coffee and milk chocolate and background lingering notes of bourbon vanilla bean. The second collaboration between Paddy’s and Valley Brewing, this time brewed at Valley - their first sour release.

This Catharina style Sour is 60% wheat malt and refermented on pink guava and pineapple. It’s got a decent sour sting at 3.25pH and a tartness that balances nicely with the tropical fruits. Smooth, fruity and refreshing as hell.
