Wave Pool   (3.77/5)

A tropical inspired IPA that is more fun than a rec centre birthday party!

Tiffany   (3.58/5)

It's Complicated.

Don’t let the scrunchie fool you, Tiffany likes to let her hair down. Bright pink with a sassy tartness, it's a dance off between our Golden Ale and red wine grapes. The result is a bone dry, crazily crushable, dangerous lover friend.

Style: Farmhouse Ale - Saison

ABV: 8%    IBU: 24

Link Back: Tiffany - Brewed In Calgary AB

Ring Pop   (4.05/5)

We harnessed the power of a Norwegian Kveik yeast to ferment this beauty fast and hot.  The result is a sexy, hazy golden yellow brew that is a tornado of hops, juice and party.  It smells like a boozy tropical fruit salad!  Pineapple, papaya and melon flavours dominate with a nice touch of red berry provided by the Barbe Rouge and Mosaic hops.

Style: IPA - New England

ABV: 7.2%    IBU: 50

Hologram   (3.53/5)

More than meets the eye, this multidimensional dry hopped Belgian White has citrus flavours from every angle. Transforming from lemon-orange hop aromas to real tangerine peel taste, you'll never see a wit the same again.

Style: Wheat Beer - Witbier

ABV: 4.8%    IBU: 15

Good Morning Vietnamese Coffee Stout   (3.86/5)

So Much Coffee! Strong roasted coffee and chocolate with wood on the back end. Sweet but balanced. Moderate to strong bitterness from heavy hop additions and roasted coffee.

Style: Stout - Coffee

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 40

Double Dare   (3.85/5)

This recipe was born out of '88 love for humongous West Coast IPA’s. Its forward, aggressive and maybe even a bit brash. This is the bad influence. Go for it! What’s the worst that could happen…

Style: IPA - Imperial / Double

ABV: 7.7%    IBU: 88

Easy Bake Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake Stout   (3.68/5)

Brewed in collaboration with Pretty Sweet Bakeshop and inspired by their amazing cake, this beer is rich, silky and over the top with flavour. Starting with a heaping amount of oats and boiled for over 2 hrs, the sight of it coating your glass like icing brings a tear to our grinchy brewers eyes. To finish, this beer it was aged on candi sugar, vanilla beans, cocoa nibs and the perfect hint of salt. It’s big enough for Santa and all of his little helpers, and it's so darn tasty that you can’t put it down.

Style: Stout - Pastry

ABV: 8.5%    IBU: 0

Cassette   (3.44/5)

Created with extended play in mind, this table beer plays nothing but the hits. A clean pilsner malt backbone complimented by a bright Belgian yeast makes things crisp and interesting. A subtle spice and a light hop profile add just enough complexity to make sure you grab another and get to the B side.

Style: Table Beer

ABV: 4.3%    IBU: 29

Cecil   (3.57/5)

Named after the infamous Calgary landmark, this Belgian Dubbel isn't as rough and tumble as you might think. Sure, it's a touch on the dark side, but look a little closer and you'll fine some toffee sweetness and a little dried fruit all tied together in a smooth round finish.

Style: Belgian Dubbel

ABV: 6%    IBU: 21

Summer Camp Crush   (3.86/5)

Summer Camp Crush II   (3.79/5)

A new summer crush!

The 2nd collaboration brew with our friends at Camp Brand Goods. This Paloma cocktail inspired beer is meant to be easy drinking with hints of agave, grapefruit and just the right amount of tart. Pairs well with the hot summer sun, friends at the lake and vintage lawn chairs.
Summer Camp Crush II may cause memories of sleepaway camp, late night campfires, and your first camp crush.

This collaboration beer, brewed with our amazing friends @campbrandgoods, is everything you want in a glass. Starting with a delicious sour base, we added salt, agave nectar, kaffir lime leaves and then fermented it with a load of grapefruit. The result is a refreshing, tart, citrus explosion that comes in at a perfectly sessionable 5.2%.
This is the beer for the deck. Hit it!

Style: Sour - Fruited

ABV: 5.2%    IBU: 8

Dial Up   (3.92/5)

Dial Up has long been a staff favourite for its more balanced and sessionable approach. It has a slightly tweaked malt bill from our usual hazy stash, it’s more medium bodied, and it has perfect balance between bitter and sweet. Hopped at 10g/L with Hallertau Blanc, El Dorado and Cascade it has amazing aromas of passionfruit, pear and pineapple, but finishes heavy on the citrus. In short, it’s lovely and worth the wait.

Style: IPA - New England

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 38

Happy Trails   (3.9/5)

This beautiful all-Alberta collaboration is a summery, crushable IPA made with white wine must, guava puree, and Nelson Sauvin hops. What started as a single recipe has turned into three distinct brews, with each brewery using a house yeast strain to make their addition unique. Get out there and try all three!

Style: IPA - New England

ABV: 6.5%    IBU: 30

Unsolved Mysteries   (3.99/5)

Brewed in collaboration with the Last Best, this beer is a beast and meant to celebrate the best of the dark beer season. Its big, bold, and dark as night! So big in fact we had to mash twice in order to fit the huge grain bill! We also added a healthy dose of demerara sugar in the boil to add to the caramelization and help the abv finish just north of 9%! The nose is caramel, dried fruit and molasses and the flavor is rich, roasty and complex. It’s the kinda beer you want to warm up with on a cold night, makes an excellent night cap, and if its dark powers are abused, will certainly lead to hand talking and hyperbole. Its damn near perfect!

Style: Porter - Baltic

ABV: 9%    IBU: 29

Happier Hour   (3.88/5)

Happier Hour is the combined effort of an amazing cast of folks who felt compelled to help during this unprecedented time of need. The proceeds from this refreshing pale ale will go directly to United Way of Calgary's Covid-19 Relief Fund, providing basic needs, community services and help for the most vulnerable.

This classic pale ale gives aromas of pine, floral and citrus with a welcoming amount of resinous and fruity hop flavour. It's very balanced, with very slight caramel notes. Make it a happier hour.

Style: Pale Ale - American

ABV: 5.5%    IBU: 38

Skeleton Crew   (3.88/5)

Fig Newton Barley Wine aged on American oak and fresh figs, adding layers of complexity and fruitiness.

Style: Barleywine - American

ABV: 10.8%    IBU: 44

Keytar   (3.65/5)

Strap in for the funk

Next up from Funky Town is another riff on our Table Beer! We took the base beer and aged it with Brett D, then crushed Muscat grapes for a total fermentation process of 6 months! To finish, we added a healthy dry hop of Nelson Sauvin hops to compliment the wine flavours.  This Brett Saison is crisp as it comes, has a vibrant stone fruit nose, and finishes with a slight funkiness. It’s the perfect change up when you are looking for something a little weird! Enjoy friends.

Style: Brett Beer

ABV: 5%    IBU: 32

Dad Jeans   (3.71/5)

It doesn’t get more iconic...

...than an American Pale Ale. It's beauty is in its balance, malty without being too rich, hoppy without being too bitter. It's even keel, and best of all its bold without being too boozy, making it a go to stop on the way to flavour country. We would be remiss not to acknowledge that this beer was heavily inspired by true Pale Ale pioneers, Sierra Nevada. Dad jeans uses 100% cascade through the whole process, including a light dry hop. It has an awesome spicy citrus aroma with hints of grapefruit and a beautifully malty backbone that makes it all go round.

Style: Pale Ale - American

ABV: 5.3%    IBU: 30

Acupulco H.E.A.T.   (3.78/5)

Grapefruit gose with a slight hint of tequila, reminiscent of a Paloma cocktail.

Style: Sour - Fruited Gose

ABV: 5.1%    IBU: 10

Ship Story   (3.91/5)

Whether you have lived here for a few months or your whole life, all of us have a Ship Story. So when our friends @shipandachorpub asked us to brew up something special to celebrate their 30th anniversary, we were beyond stoked!

Ship Story is a humungous, 7.8%, dry hopped kettle sour fermented on a very large amount of guava and mango. The story here is tropical through and through with very bright fruit on the nose and a wonderfully sweet and tart finish.

It will be available at the ship starting next week, but they were kind enough to let us tap a few kegs early for our birthday since that’s just the type of fine folks they are!

Style: Sour - Fruited

ABV: 7.8%    IBU: 9

Link Back: Ship Story - Brewed In Calgary AB

Splash Park   (3.88/5)

A perfectly robust hazy, fit for a summer birthday party!

Made with comfort in mind this soft and juicy number was heavily dry hopped with El Dorado, Cascade and Hallertau Blanc which pulls tons of passion fruit, pear and citrus. Mouthfeel is nicely creamy and the finish is slightly bitter but doesn’t linger. It’s big enough to stick with you but it’s crisp enough to keep you coming back! HBD!

Style: Pale Ale - New England

ABV: 6.8%    IBU: 31

Link Back: Splash Park - Brewed In Calgary AB

Battlecat   (4.2/5)

It's no secret we love ourselves a good cocktail

When we were looking to fill our empty cognac barrel we knew we had no choice but to bring in the heavy hitters; brewed in collaboration with Proof, Battlecat was based on the classic sidecar cocktail! It started its journey as a base saison brewed with lemon and orange peel and was then soured with 4 different strains of lactobacillus before being aged in a Cognac barrel for 4 months. In the barrel the beer was secondary fermented with brettanomyces which added a ton of complexity and depth. The nose is citrus with oak and cognac, but once you take a sip the acidity plays up the pepper and stone fruit. It’s truly a beast and with only 600 bottles made, it’s not going to last!

Style: Sour - Other

ABV: 8.8%    IBU: 24
