Great Day for Haze is a double dry hopped hazy extra pale ale. A subtle tropical and citrus aroma comes from the Cascade and El Dorado hops that were exclusively used. It has a slight passionfruit and apricot flavor that is balanced with a silky medium bodied mouthfeel that comes from the flaked oats and malted wheat used in this recipe. Slight drying on the tongue will encourage drinkability. With this beer in hand, any day will be a �great day for hay�!

We have taken our 2 time gold medal winning Wee Heavy and aged it in bourbon barrels. The rich prune, raisin, brown sugar and toffee notes of the base beer blend wonderfully with the bourbon, vanilla and alcohol warming notes pulled from the barrels.

Our latest beer will make you rethink what South Africa is all about. The dry conditions make the hops grown there incredibly unique. We�ve added Southern Star and Southern Passion hops to this ridiculously hazy beer and the result is phenomenal! It is hazy and orange, with huge berry and tropical fruit aromas. It�s very full-bodied with flavours of guava, pineapple, passionfruit and strawberry. It finishes with a lingering malty nuttiness this is one to sip and ponder over.

Gather close kids, and listen carefully. Strange things have been happening at Cabin. Really strange things...

A knocking sound in the boiler. A monotonous squeak heard through the walls. Shrieks of delight from the taproom. Vanishing piles of new release beer. One day all the beer turned hazy, and it hasn't been clear since.

Something had to be done. We prayed to the beer gods. We offered up barley wine sacrifices. We had a vision and knew what to do. We threw hops. We sprinkled the brew system with blessed brewing water. We incanted brewing calculations and style guidelines late into the night.

The next day, the activity stopped. At the same time, a ghostly spectre appeared in the wood grain of a taproom table. We had done it. We had trapped Cabin's ghost for good.

Table Ghost NEIPA is an homage to the little ghost that was. It's a dank, murky NEIPA of the finest quality, hopped abundantly with Strata hops. It's juicy, aromatic and delicious.

Etceteras has a beautiful bouquet of barnyard, oak, rye spiciness, apple, pear, and a gentle but clean lactic acidity. It finishes bone dry with a substantial lightly charred oak finish. This beer proudly struts in through the front door at 7.3% and invites itself to dinner.

wheat and oats - just 2-row, flaked barley
and Victory malt.

It�s sour, it�s creamy and it�s full of black currants. Cr�me de la Cassis was brewed much like our last sour; fruited, dry hopped, and pumped full of nitro. It�s the smoothest, creamiest, easiest drinking sour you�ve ever sipped on. Oh, and it looks hella sexy in our tulip glasses. We fruited this sour with black currants, giving the beer a beautiful colour. Cashmere and Amarillo hops help to emphasize the natural tartness of the berries, and a dry hop was added to bring out some of the citrus flavours. Not a beer for the dairy-sensitive, when we say milkshake we kinda mean it. The milkshake quality in this brew comes from the addition of oat flakes, wheat and lactose, and then we blasted the sour with nitro to give it that thick, Cr�me de la Cassis mouthfeel.

This beer has an exquisite balance between saison fruit and phelonics, semi-assertive American Oak, a hint of lacto on the nose and it finishes bone dry with a subtle touch of pineapple.

We are celebrating the bravery of Marsha P. Johnson and remembering that Pride started as and continues to be a protest. Boasting a smooth pillowy body, very low bitterness, and a powerful citrus flavour profile from Citra and Mandarina Bavaria hops, you�ll be doing a double take to make sure you didn�t pick out a can of orange juice to accompany you in your Pride celebrations this summer!

It was totally nerve-wracking and tremendously exciting to follow this beer as it aged; we hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Snowsquall Lager rings the bell at 6.2% alc./vol and 22 IBU. All of the barley in this batch was grown in Alberta by the fine folks at Hamill Farms and malted by Red Shed Malting. You'll get a chance to taste a brew crafted exclusively with the Newdale barley variety in two forms, both as a base malt and as a high dried "Rocky Mountain Malt". These malts are balanced against a hearty dose of late hops with traditional German and Czech hop varieties. Cozy up, you�re about to be snowed in!

A hazy non-typical IPA with a healthy dose of Lactose to thicken the body and increase the mouthfeel. Large quantities of late boil hop additions produce big tropical and citrus character while a generous amount of peach bring this beer to life. Finally we added pure vanilla extract to round this beer out and really give it a true milk shake feel.

Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day 2018 welcomed women from the local beer industry to brew with us for the fourth year in a row! This year's brew is a Double IPA with a big nose and huge taste. We've hopped at every step with Cascade, Palisade, Chinook , Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra for a beer that is worthy of its name. We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we have enjoyed brewing and canning it for you! A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer are used to establish the Pink Boots Bursary. This bursary helps women enrolled in the Olds College Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management Course.

The Viennese Summer is a hot weather crushable beer. Using only 1 malt (Vienna) and 2 hops (Huell Melon, Chinook) gives this brew a simple and delicious flavor profile. It's a taproom limited release, so pop by and enjoy while it lasts!

Our first public release of a Prairie dog barrel-aged beer. Starting as our house Porter, we aged the beer for several months in a french oak barrel that had previously been used to age red wine (style unknown). During its life in the barrel, the beer picked up loads of vanilla and stone fruit character (cherry), and underwent a secondary fermentation with wine yeast, drying it out significantly. To sweeten the beer backup, we blended it with more of the straight porter and added a hint of natural vanilla to round out the edges.

Welcome the change of seasons with Guavamorphology, an ultra-refreshing kettle-soured gose packed to the rafters with juiced pink guavas and Ekuanot hops to create an aromatic citrus fruit bomb! A simple malt base of craft 2-row barley and flaked wheat was infused with modest boil additions of Himalayan rock salt and lactose, delivering a pillowy soft mouthfeel and an intensely refreshing finish that pairs all too well with the spring melt. We'd like to thank Neil Bamford who, along with his amazing partner Tom Corbett, run The Vineyard home-brew shop. Where else does a craft brewing revolution start but at the local home-brew shop? Neil seems to be fuelled by a mission of turning home-brewers into pro-brewers. This one is for Neil.
The beer is a sessionable Oatmeal Pale ale utilizing Cascade as a single hop variety which imparts sweet floral citrus aromas of grapefruit and limes balanced with slight spicy pine notes on the palate. We do, however, know a good mash-up when we see it. Like the salty and sour flavours of German gose beer, melded with the rich, dark fruit notes of ripe plum. Additions of coriander and wheat give a lingering flavour that shines. It�s to die for.

In the German beer family there are lots of strange and interesting cousins, but only one stately older uncle with a long and storied history like this. This style of beer has been around for hundreds of years, produced throughout Bavaria before the lighter Oktoberfest and Pilsner styles were even invented. Made with a blend of light and dark Munich malts and lagered for a minimum of 30 days.

A WELL BALANCED IPA WITH A DEEP GOLD COLOUR. BISCUIT AND CARAMEL MALT NOTES LEAD INTO LIGHT TROPICAL FRUIT NOTES AND A HEAVY PINE FINISH. THE MODERATE HOP BITTERNESS MAKES THIS AN EASY CHOICE FOR IPA NEWBIES AND VETERANS ALIKE.

This is a beer that embodies adventure. A departure from the classic IPA, it has a deep red colour from Alberta�s world class barley, balanced by a notorious line up of hops. All this packaged in a beer designed for the drinker who has their eyes on the summit.

Named after a great small town, near some fields we grow barley for our tasty beer! Made with real raspberries, this is the perfect and refreshing summer beer!

Our Watermelon Gose is lightly salted, juicy and thirst-quenching with a distinct lactic tartness. Melon aromas will have you thinking of picnics i the park. This brew, much like summer in Alberya, will only be around for a short time!

In this seasonal beer we made our take on a hazy IPA. We dry hopped this beer with Galaxy hops from Australia giving off Citrus, peach and passionfruit aromas. Coming in at 70 IBU�s it packs a punch.
