Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day 2018 welcomed women from the local beer industry to brew with us for the fourth year in a row! This year's brew is a Double IPA with a big nose and huge taste. We've hopped at every step with Cascade, Palisade, Chinook , Mosaic, Simcoe and Citra for a beer that is worthy of its name. We hope you enjoy drinking it as much as we have enjoyed brewing and canning it for you! A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer are used to establish the Pink Boots Bursary. This bursary helps women enrolled in the Olds College Brewmaster & Brewery Operations Management Course.

We took Desperate Times, our unique take on a Baltic Porter, the 100th batch of beer brewed at Prairie Dog Brewing and aged it for 5 months in Tennessee Whiskey barrels, bringing bold yet smooth whiskey characteristics to an already rich and delicious beer. The malty sweet chocolate and light roastiness serve to introduce the warming backbone of its 10.3% ABV. Lagered and barrel-aged, this beer is smooth and crisp, yet full bodied and deceptively easy drinking for its alcohol content.

If you could thank anyone for the amazing recent explosion of craft breweries opening in our province, who would it be? For this year�s International Women�s Day brew, we are collaborating with XHale Brew Co to create our own take on a very new style, the �Cold IPA�, which is sweeping across the USA but has yet to make its mark on Alberta. This mixed style combines aspects of both a European Lager and a West Coast IPA to create a very unique brew that is light in colour, crisp in finish, and heavy on hops. What better way to showcase this year�s Pink Boots hop blend? Our annual Pink Boots Brew is used to re-establish the conversation around women empowerment and inclusion in the brewing industry and we�ve teamed up with XHale Brew Co to help expand our reach with this important message.

2019 Canadian International Beer Festival Gold Winner. Formerly known as Coconut Brown, this beer overlays sweet, fresh, house-toasted coconut on a nutty brown base beer, with flavours of milk chocolate, caramel and toast, on a mildly bitter backbone with a dry finish.

Our head brewer, Lisa wanted to make a saison reminiscent of the subtle characteristics of white wine grapes. We used Huell Melon and Hallertau Blanc hops, which impart the fruity notes Lisa was looking for. We've also used Rocky Mountain malt from Red Shed Malting to impart a unique malt flavour. Enjoy!

It�s a Dark Fusion of an American Porter and an American Wheat Ale. This dark brown beer almost approaches black in color, with a delicate tan head. Featuring a smooth, deep roast, full body ale with notes of blackcurrant, chocolate & a light coffee aroma. The bitterness is floral, spiced, and herbal, with a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. A perfect balance between malt and hops!

This beer is a result of our ongoing beer experiments. The beer is beautiful fruity blonde ale, perfectly married with a slight tartness and freshness from the addition of over 750lb of cranberries. A beautiful red hue will be enough to make you want a pint!

This beer is dark red, roasty like coffee, toasty like fresh bread and makes your mouth water for more. We put just enough hops in to remind you what they�re capable of. This ale is medium boded and easy to drink.

2020 Alberta Beer Awards Bronze Medal Winner. This American-style wheat beer pours golden with a white, foamy head, and features prominent citrus, stone fruit, and bread aroma. This beer has a light, refreshing body with moderate carbonation and a dry but soft bread-flavoured finish and mild grain aftertaste.

We took our crisp, refreshing, crushable Lager and added a little kick for the Spring. We teamed up with a local Calgary Distillery (Burwood Distillery) and infused their Lemon Gin in to our Lager for a great local collaboration that you can enjoy all Spring and Summer
